For many, the most powerful bond a person can share is with a romantic partner, and marriage is considered the height of that bond. In order to understand how different societies define their relationships, I'm seeking to describe what marriage looks like in different groups in my homebrew setting--what the path to marriage looks like, the ceremony itself, and the expectations of married people. I'm excited to write this; my wife and I had an atypical wedding, and exploring interesting ideas for things like that will be a lot of fun for me.
